I live in the Philippines and we probably don’t have the brands of guitars that you have in the states but i really want to know what to look for when buying a guitar. The structure, the neck, anything… please describe, i’m a beginner and i really really like to learn to play

my son is 12 years of age, he is very interested in having a guitar. can someone help me and inform me about it. i live in delhi and want to buy a good guitar for my son at reasonable price. while i have never played any guitar, i have played mouth organ, keyboard player etc. can it help ? i also want to add that i learnt all these intruments on my own. can it be possible for my son to learn the guitar on his own.

I am planning on buying a new acoustic guitar. What are the things that I should look out for while buying a new guitar. I would also like to know which is better for a beginner, a acoustic guitar or a semi electric one.

i have never played the acoustic nor electric guitar. and i am interested in buying an electric guitar and start learning. but i know nothing. what do i have to look out for when buying a guitar and an amp?
