I have an Epiphone SG G-400 and I have got it set up but haven’t replaced the strings yet. I’m looking at getting some Ernie Ball Regular Slinkies, are these good strings for playing Metallica-style rock? And will I need to get my guitar set up again, like will I need to change the intonation and will I get fret buzz from new strings?
Please include details and be specific.

Ok, i play guitar, mostly Metal, rock, ect.. Im starting to get into country music just for the technicality of how the style is played. and forgive me i don’t know but what would be a good guitar for playing country music? (obviously Acoustic) but more towards the style of Josh Turner’s “would you go with me” and just newer country nd some johnny cash! any help would love it.

My nephew is 8 and is interested in learning to play guitar. Is there a certain size or online store that would carry such an instrument? He is a beginner, so I would be looking for something not too expensive. Thank You.

I’m looking to buy my first guitar and I found a 2007 Esteban acoustic on Craigslist.org. Should I decide to drive over and buy the guitar, what should I look for. How do i know it’s a good buy and what gear should come with it?
