Would You Recommend Buying A 1/2 Sized Guitar If I Want To Buy A Travel Sized Acoustic? ?

Yeah, I’m strapped for cash, ditched my cheapy-chinese-hole-in-a-box-with-steel-… and am going to pick up a new one.
I want to buy a guitar that is portable and hideable in case I’d need to travel with it.

My boyfriend takes his guitar when he travels, and never has a problem-he carries it on and asks to put it in a closet, they always do. Just buy a case.
yeah, just rather buy a hard case for it, or as the weird guy at the guitar shop told me “airport staff treat your guitar better if its in a soft case rather than a hard case”. I didn’t believe him.
But those travel electric ones look pretty awesome.
I would recommend not getting a Travel size guitar as it will affect the Quality of sound. I would recommend simply buying a hard case then putting a bungee cable around it for extra protection on the case not opening.
