Question About Buying New Guitar Strings?

I have an Epiphone SG G-400 and I have got it set up but haven’t replaced the strings yet. I’m looking at getting some Ernie Ball Regular Slinkies, are these good strings for playing Metallica-style rock? And will I need to get my guitar set up again, like will I need to change the intonation and will I get fret buzz from new strings?
Please include details and be specific.

Ernie Ball Slinky strings are perfect as I answered earlier… they are the best strings you can get! No you will not need to change the intonation but because they are new strings, it is possible to get fret buzz. When I put my Ernie Ball strings on, it would buzz on the low E string for about a month. But it doesn’t really annoy you much though…. get ‘em!
