Buying My First Guitar- What All Do I Need?

I’m looking to buy my first guitar soon (I plan on getting an acoustic) I have no experience with guitars, but I really want to learn. So my question is, what do I need as soon as I start playing guitar and what should I hold off on buying until later? Like do I need a capo, extra strings, a tuner, etc? Any other tips or advice would be really helpful!

I say buy your acoustic and a tuner with a metronome. Metronomes will help you a lot. It clicks or beeps every time you need to strike the strings or strings. It helps you stay on time. You should take a music class, it does not need to be about guitar only, but on music notation. very helpful for a beginner.
You should worry about the strings after they pop. Be careful with the thinnest string when tuning it as they pop like popcorn. I heard Epiphone and Hohner make good acoustics.
In case you need it, you will.
tune: E Thickest string
A
D
G
B
E Thinnest string
That means when you are tuning it, tune it to these notes. This is the standard tuning system, there many other notes to tune it to. Just strum the string without fretting it, which means don’t touch the string with your other hand.
Practice with that metronome. Learn some chords and look online for free guitar lessons.
Yes, by all means get a good tuner!
Wait for the strings and capo. Capo is really for changing keys rapidly, like when you get into singing or playing with others.
Get a nice soft cloth to wipe the strings everytime you play. Keep it in in the case. Sounds simple, but it’s def. necessity.
From time to time, clean the guitar with another soft, clean cloth. If necessary, make a few damp places for extra cleaning power. Dry off.
If necessary, you can buy guitar cleaners, but I avoid these unless you have to.
You should at the very least get extra strings, a tuner, picks, and a strap (if you plan to play standing up). The best acoustic tuner on the marker is the IntelliTouch IT-1. It’s not cheap but it’s totally worth it. Don’t settle for less. Good luck.
